Untitled #158 is the new architectural sculpture by Aeneas Wilder, where passers-by can observe the surrounding landscape and undergo a contemplative experience. The round construction offers a 360º view and is aligned with uniform vertical wooden slats. The installation is part of pit, the project of Z33 - house for contemporary art that brings artworks in public spaces of Limburg district (Belgium).

Naast “The Machine” van Z33, waren er ook tal van andere interessante projecten te zien in Milaan. Door omstandigheden veel te weinig gezien, maar “The future in the making” was absoluut de moeite. (met o.a. Thomas Lommee, Clemens Weisshaar, Dirk Vander Kooij, etc…)

Unfold: To be revealed gradually to the understanding

Unfold was founded in 2002 by Claire Warnier and Dries Verbrughen, after they graduated from the Design Academy Eindhoven as a platform for everything they did and would do. The Antwerp-based duo developed a strong multidisciplinary background in design, technology and art.

Hertog Jan is nieuw driesterrenrestaurant! 

België heeft er een nieuw  driesterrenrestaurant bij. Na Hof van Cleve in Kruishoutem en De Karmeliet in Brugge, krijgt ook Hertog Jan, eveneens in Brugge, de hoogste onderscheiding van de restaurantgids Michelin.

De nieuwkomer aan het firmament is Gert De Mangeleer. Na Peter Goossens (Hof van Cleve) en Geert Vanhecke (De Karmeliet) is hij de derde driesterrenchef in België. De pas 34-jarige chef klom in een paar jaar tijd naar de top. In 2002 nam hij samen met sommelier Joachim Boudens het restaurant Hertog Jan over van chef Guido Francque. In 2006 werden zij bekroond met een eerste Michelinster. In 2009 volgde de tweede
